Eclectic cabinetry & built-in joinery in Scotland.

Workshop Tatsu provides an end-to-end design and build service that combines traditional craftsmanship with efficient, modern building practices.

Drawing inspiration from classic English, Japanese, Scandinavian, and mid-century modern interior design and architecture, we combine interior design with timeless, functional cabinetry and built-in joinery features that bring joy and convenience to everyday life.

We care about creating lasting work that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

That’s why we offer detailed design consultation and material sourcing with every project, regardless of size and budget.

A Collaborative Process

Consultation & Brief

All our work starts with a one-to-one consultation to discuss your needs, propose solutions and share decor ideas.

Designs & Samples

After the initial consultation, we design one or multiple concepts in our studio with line drawings, colour and material palettes, and guide pricing. Colour and material samples are provided to you.

Build & Installation

Once a design is finalised we begin production at our workshop, providing updates along the way. After an estimated completion date is confirmed, we will reach out to book a delivery and installation date.

Consciously sourced materials & curated hardware

As part of our design service, we advise on and source carefully selected materials, hardware and colours according to your brief and budget.

The results are one-of-a-kind, coherent and timeless, featuring tactile surfaces and elegant details.
